For preschool age children and their parents

 

Chess Club

Goodrich Memorial Library in Newport is sponsoring a chess club open to anyone from fourth grade to adults. Instructor John Ward will provide chess coaching with visual aids for all levels of skill. These free classes are held from 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm on the first and third Wednesdays of each month. Chess boards and snacks will be provided. Fairbanks Museum & Planetarium
